These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Skinstead website and every purchase you make on it. The website is operated by Skinstead, B-122, Kalkaji, UGF, New Delhi, Delhi, India ("Skinstead", "we", "us"). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Privacy Policy, Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy, and Shipping and Delivery Policy, which form part of these terms.
1. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, you may use the website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Products and information. We sell authorised stock sourced from brands or their authorised distributors in India. Product descriptions, ingredients, actives and suitability notes are provided for general information. They are not medical advice and do not replace a consultation with a doctor. Please read the label, patch test new products, and consult a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a skin condition, or are unsure whether a product suits you. Our dermatology board's review is a curation of what we stock, not a diagnosis.
3. Prescription products. Medicines that require a prescription are supplied only against a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner. We may ask for a copy of the prescription and verify it before dispatch. We may cancel an order if a valid prescription is not provided, and refund it in full.
4. Prices and taxes. All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes, including GST, unless stated otherwise. The price that applies is the one shown when you place the order. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we will tell you before dispatch and you may confirm the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Orders. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we dispatch the products. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing or listing error, if we suspect fraud or misuse, or if a required prescription is not provided.
6. Payments. Payments are processed securely by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card, UPI or bank credentials. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout.
7. Shipping, returns and refunds. Delivery, cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping and Delivery Policy and our Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy on this website. Nutraceuticals, dietary supplements and prescription medicines are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered, except where an item arrives damaged, defective, expired or incorrect.
8. Your account. If you create an account, keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@skinstead.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
9. Intellectual property. The content on this website, including text, design, graphics and the Skinstead name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. Product names, images and trademarks belong to their respective brand owners. You may not copy or reuse our content without written permission.
10. Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, use automated tools to extract data, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
11. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have, or any liability we have, that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you place it.
